About Udyogini Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs 2023

Women from all aspects of society are granted interest-free loans without hindrance or bias. The banks also provide interest-free loans to female farmers who are business owners.

The Udyogini Scheme relies heavily on the support of numerous commercial and public sector banks, including Punjab and Sind Bank, Saraswat Bank, and the Karnataka State Women’s Development Corporation (KSWDC). This organization coordinates and implements professional development training programs for women while also offering financial assistance.

  • To offer eligible women beneficiaries interest-free loans without any bias or discrimination

  • Prevent women from obtaining a high-interest loan from private lenders or other financial organizations
  • Through EDP Training, make sure the beneficiaries who are women increase their skills.

Eligibility Criteria for the Udyogini scheme

The eligibility criteria for the udyogini scheme are as follows:

  • The candidate must be a woman
  • The initial woman’s age restriction was 45 years, but that limit has since been raised to 55 years, making the range of eligible ages 18 to 55.
  • The prior income limit was Rs. 40,000; the current income restriction is Rs. 1.5 Lakhs.
  • Only women business owners are eligible for business loans.
  • The applicant who has a high credit score and can make payments
  • Ideally, you wouldn’t have defaulted on any previous loans from financial institutions.
