Haryana OTS Scheme Categories

The tax amount is separated into four categories under the OTS approach, beginning with an undisputed fee category for uncontested cases. The entire sum in this category, with no penalties or interest, will be paid by taxpayers. Thirty percent of the unpaid balance is what taxpayers must pay for contested taxes under Rs 50 lakh. Uncontested taxes determined by the department in cases where no appeal was filed fall into the third category.

If the sum is less than Rs 50 lakh, taxpayers will pay 40%, and if it exceeds Rs 50 lakh, 60%. Additionally, this group provides an exemption from fines and interest. The outstanding amounts resulting from different tax rates fall into the fourth category. Here, the taxpayer only has to pay 30% of the total because the government has discounted the sum. The OTS program not only offers tax relief but also convenient financing choices.
