RTE Maharashtra Admission 2023-24 Online Application Starts
Beginning on March 1st, the state directorate of primary education will accept online applications for admissions under the 25% reserved quota of the Right to Education (RTE) Act. The deadline for this application period is March 17. The education department made the Aadhar card a requirement for applications this year for the first time. Candidates who do not already have one must apply and submit it within 90 days after admission or upon application receipt, otherwise, the department would be forced to rescind the seat.
As a result of this new need for Aadhar cards enforced by the Union government for any government scheme, there was a delay in the admission process for the second phase after school registrations were completed. Because the beneficiaries in our instance are too young, we suggested to the state that parents be given a certain amount of time to obtain the necessary documentation. A 90-day window was allowed after our proposal was approved. After March 17, the department will release the schedule for the admission confirmation dates and lottery information. This year, the state has expanded the list of RTE quota beneficiaries to include children whose one or both parents passed away due to COVID-19 between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2022.

- Select District and then choose “by block” or “by the name”
