3.10 lakh Praja Palana applications have been filed in the Kamareddy district and about 5.90 lakh Praja Palana applications have been filed online for welfare pensions and ration cards in Nizamabad district. The last day to apply was Saturday, January 6, 2024. Local governments in both rural and urban areas were crucial in accepting the applications from prospective recipients. To accept the applications, special counters were erected in wards, gramme panchayats, and municipal divisions. The Praja Palana program was successful in the Nizamabad district because of the collaboration of the elected authorities, officials, and other staff members. People rushed to special counters in 146 municipal wards and divisions and 530-gramme panchayats on Saturday in significant numbers.

 The municipalities of Nizamabad, Bodhan, Armoor, and Bheemgal got about 1, 39,528 applications. 3, 38,280 applications were received from rural local bodies from throughout the area. Now, these applications will be sorted to approve the schemes. A field visit will be used by designated personnel to further investigate the applicant’s eligibility.

As the application form filling was done in an offline process, the government has directed the officials to computerize all the received application forms before 17th January. Soon after the completion of data entry through the government centers and mandals, applicants can check the status online by visiting the official website i.e. prajapalana.telangana.gov.in
