The objective of the Telangana government to launch the Mahalakshmi Scheme is to make women of Telangana independent. Through this scheme, the women will get a lot of financial and social benefits. Free transportation facility or gas cylinder will be given. Financial assistance of Rs. 2,500 will be provided. All these benefits will be given to make them self–sufficient and self–supporting.
