About Maharashtra Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme 2024

The Women and Child Department & Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Ajit Pawar have introduced the Maharashtra Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme 2024. Under this scheme, the government will subsidize 20% of the cost for unemployed women who will contribute 10%, with the remaining 70% covered by bank loans. For the 1st year, 5000 e-rickshaws will be allotted. The women can drive the pink e-rickshaw & this will also ensure the safety of other women who are traveling. The applicants have to just pay 10% of the total cost of the rickshaw; the rest amount will be covered in the subsidy.

The Maharashtra government has introduced the Maharashtra Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme 2024 to enhance job opportunities for women & ensure the safety of women commuters in cities. 5,000 pink rickshaws have been proposed for the 1st year of the Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme. Additionally, the maintenance of e-rickshaws is also very low compared to the others. So, it will also be environment friendly.

  • The Women and Child Department & Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Ajit Pawar have introduced the Maharashtra Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme 2024.
